Heriot-Watt University?is a?public?university?based in?Edinburgh, established in 1821 as the world's first?mechanics' institute. It has been a university by?Royal Charter?since 1966. It has branch campuses in the?Scottish Borders,?Orkney, Dubai, and?Putrajaya?in?Malaysia Heriot-Watt University has established a reputation for world-class teaching and practical, leading-edge research which has made it one of the top ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø universities for business and industry. As a result the University has just been rated 13th?in the ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø and 2nd?in Scotland in the 2015 Guardian university league tables. Entry Requirements

Undergraduate: Highers BBBBC OR AAAB, A-Levels ABC or BBB or higher or its non-ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø equivalent.

Postgraduate: A??rst or second class?Honours degree or its non-ÂÜÀòÉç¹ÙÍø equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognised British or Overseas University.
